Detailed Maintenance Guide for Keyida Labeling Machines

(Applicable to all models: BSD200 / BW100 / BK150 / BSX100 / BS200)

All Keyida labeling machines are equipped with servo drive systems, patented label feeding mechanisms, 304 stainless steel frames, and branded electrical components. To ensure long-term stable operation, extend service life, and reduce failure rates, this detailed maintenance guide is formulated. All operators and equipment maintenance personnel must strictly follow these procedures.

I. General Maintenance Principles

  • Safety First: Disconnect power, hang warning signs, and release air pressure before maintenance; live maintenance is strictly prohibited.
  • Prevention Oriented: Adhere to hierarchical maintenance, including daily cleaning, regular upkeep, and timely repairs.
  • Specialized Machine Use: Perform maintenance according to corresponding models; do not mix maintenance procedures.
  • Recordable Tracking: Fill out maintenance records for each service to track equipment status.

II. Pre-Maintenance Safety Operation Specifications (Mandatory)

  • Power Cut: Turn off the main power and air supply of the equipment, and unplug the power cord.
  • Warning Sign: Hang a warning sign stating “Equipment Under Maintenance – Do Not Start”.
  • Pressure Release: Release residual air pressure to ensure no pressure remains in the pneumatic system.
  • Cleaning: Remove adhesive residues and debris from the equipment surface to maintain a clean working environment.
  • Tools: Prepare special maintenance tools (lint-free cloth, alcohol, food-grade lubricant, wrenches, etc.).

III. Hierarchical Detailed Maintenance Procedures

(I) Daily / Shift Maintenance (After Each Production Run)

Cleaning

  • Wipe the label feeding mechanism, label peeling plate, and pressing roller with a lint-free cloth dampened with alcohol to remove residual adhesive and paper scraps.
  • Clean the label path to ensure no wrinkles, jams, or foreign objects.
  • Wipe the equipment casing and touch screen to keep the machine clean and tidy.

Inspection

  • Check the label reel and tension for normality, ensuring no looseness or deviation.
  • Inspect sensor lenses (SICK / Leuze) for dust or obstructions.
  • Check pneumatic lines and hoses for air leaks or damage.
  • Inspect the conveyor, chuck, and horizontal mechanism for foreign objects or jams.

Trial Operation

  • Run the equipment without load to check for abnormal noise or vibration and confirm normal operation.

(II) Weekly Maintenance

Deep Cleaning

  • Disassemble the label feeding head, pressing roller, and label peeling plate to thoroughly remove adhesive and oil stains.
  • Clean all sensor lenses and calibrate sensitivity.
  • Clean the surface of the electrical cabinet to remove dust and oil.

Inspection & Adjustment

  • Check servo motor cables for looseness or damage.
  • Inspect timing belt tension; ensure proper tightness without slipping or deviation.
  • Drain water and clean the pneumatic filter.
  • Calibrate labeling accuracy to ensure deviation ≤ ±0.3mm.

Lubrication

  • Apply food-grade lubricant (specially for high-speed models) to guide rails, bearings, and transmission parts.

(III) Monthly Maintenance

Comprehensive Cleaning

  • Remove dust inside the electrical cabinet using compressed air (do not blow directly on circuit boards).
  • Clean the label reel and transmission gears to remove oil and foreign objects.

Inspection & Fastening

  • Tighten all screws, bolts, and connectors to prevent looseness or falling off.
  • Inspect the equipment structure; ensure 304 stainless steel parts are free of deformation or corrosion.
  • Check servo motor operating temperature, which shall not exceed 40℃.

Calibration & Testing

  • Calibrate sensor position, labeling position, and label output speed.
  • Perform 50 consecutive test labels to verify accuracy and stability.

(IV) Quarterly Maintenance

Core Component Maintenance

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and calibrate the patented label feeding mechanism.
  • Check servo motors and drivers for abnormalities or malfunctions.
  • Inspect the PLC and touch screen to ensure normal and smooth system operation.

Wearing Parts Inspection

  • Check label peeling plates, pressing rollers, and belts for wear, deformation, or cracks.
  • Inspect sensors and solenoid valves for normal sensitivity and proper function.

Accuracy Retest

  • Fully retest labeling accuracy, speed, and stability, and record data.

(V) Annual Maintenance

Comprehensive Disassembly & Maintenance

  • Disassemble all moving parts, transmission parts, and pneumatic components for thorough cleaning and lubrication.
  • Inspect the frame, rack, and 304 stainless steel structure for deformation, corrosion, or looseness.

Core Component Replacement / Calibration

  • Replace expired wearing parts (label peeling plate, belt, sensor, etc.).
  • Calibrate the servo system, label feeding mechanism, and labeling accuracy.

Comprehensive Testing

  • Run the machine continuously for 8 hours to test accuracy, speed, stability, and failure rate.
  • Issue an annual maintenance report to confirm equipment status.

IV. Special Maintenance for Core Components

1. Patented Label Feeding Mechanism

  • Weekly cleaning, monthly calibration, and quarterly disassembly maintenance.
  • Impact or scratches on the label peeling plate by hard objects are strictly prohibited; keep the surface smooth.
  • Ensure synchronized label feeding, smooth label output, no label drifting, and no label breaking.

2. Sensor (SICK / Leuze) Maintenance

  • Clean lenses weekly and calibrate sensitivity monthly.
  • Blockage, impact, and oil contamination are strictly prohibited.
  • Ensure accurate detection, no misjudgment, and no missed detection.

3. Servo Motor / Driver Maintenance

  • Check temperature and cables monthly, calibrate parameters quarterly.
  • Overload operation and foreign matter entering the motor are strictly prohibited.
  • Ensure stable operation, no vibration, no noise, and consistent accuracy.

4. Touch Screen / PLC Maintenance

  • Clean the screen daily and inspect the system monthly.
  • Knocking with hard objects, oil contamination, and illegal operations are strictly prohibited.
  • Ensure normal system operation, no lag, no crashes, and accurate parameters.

5. Conveyor / Chuck / Horizontal Mechanism Maintenance

  • Daily cleaning, weekly lubrication, and monthly fastening inspection.
  • Ensure stable operation, no jamming, no vibration, and no deformation.
  • Perform special accuracy calibration for horizontal, chuck, and double-side models.
